Some time ago I hated small stores and prefered large hypermarkets, because they have very large selection and prices there are lower than in other stores, plus discount programs and the fact that you can buy almost everything in one shop.
But, now I love very small stores. There is one near my work, I can drop in when I return, buy a bottle of wine and some cheese. That is everything I need, what else should I think about? They will not offer great selection, but anyway I want just a wine and just some cheese. And the prices are bigger, but who cares for just two items? And it is really fast and miellyttävä to buy there instead of queueing in a large hypermarket joining the crowd like in an ant-hill.
